[Sparforte] hi !

Hi,
I haven't given news for years because I stopped using Ada altogether,
switching to hobbies I could pursue with more enthusiasm.
However it is actually the first time I really need a scripting language
for work and personal projects.
I tried for quite some time with FISH, to get both a somewhat readable
language and a pleasant interactive shell,
but I just realize it's nothing more than an unreadable, unmaintainable
pile of shit capable of doing possibly many things, but never what we want,
and never in a straightforward way. To hell with shell syntax, it is the
bane of serious programming...
So I'll give sparforte a try. Besides, I'm being trained to be an automaton
engineer, so correct tools (not just "good enough" or superficially
practical) might get handy real quick.

Just one question, does strings.perl_match accept the whole spectrum of
PCREs, groups in particular ?
But "replace" functions don't do group substitutions?
